Mission
It is the mission of the California State Student Association (CSSA) to maintain and enhance access to an affordable, quality public higher education for the people of California to the California State University (CSU).
Purpose
- Consult governor, state legislature and CSU Board of Trustees on issues affecting students
- Develop unity in addressing campus and statewide issues
- Represent each of the system's 23 campus student associations
- Foster and coordinate communication among campus student associations
- Coordinate student representation in governance
- Provide student development opportunities
